This stallion service contract is entered into on this date:

by and between; Highland Valley Stables Ltd. 3727 Lefeuvre Road, Abbotsford, BC, V4X 1N6 and/or its agents (hereinafter referred to collectively in this agreement as the ‘Stallion Owner’);

and; *

of *(hereinafter referred to as the ‘Mare Owner);

It is agree, that for the purpose of this contract plural shall be represented as singular.

That on this day herein an agreement to form a binding contract to breed the stallion, DOMETHATAGAIN, (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Stallion’) to the

Mare: *

Freeze brand no. *

via Live Cover, for the breeding year 2022, for a fee of TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS ($2,000) For Mares to foal in BC owned by 51 percent BC Residents. Or, THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($3,000) for Mares foaling in other Provinces. One Hundred and Fifty Dollars, ($150) of which is due upon delivery of the Mare for breeding and is NOT refundable. The balance will become due and payable upon a live foal at 48 hours old.

The breeding season for the purpose of this agreement shall be from February15 to July 30, 2022.

This contract contains a live foal guarantee, which states that a live foal is considered a newborn foal that stands and nurses and thrives for 48 hours.

The Mare Owner agrees that the Stallion Owners do not make any guarantee as to the quality of conformation of the foal, nor that the foal will be free of any illness, conformation defect, diseases or inherited trait.

The Mare Owner may not substitute another mare for breeding without the consent of the Stallion Owners.

This contract cannot be transferred or assigned by the Mare Owner or any agent thereof for the Mare Owner.

The Mare Owner agrees and understands that the Stallion Owner, their representatives or employees shall not be liable for any injuries to the mare while residing at The Stallion Farm or undergoing live cover.

The Mare Owner agrees to pay all veterinarian fees, medical costs necessary to obtain and confirm a pregnancy.

The board rate at the Stallion farm shall be $20.00 per day for the mare, or $25 for a mare with a foal at foot.

This contract shall be governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and shall be binding upon the parties herein and their personal representatives.
